"No problem with the staff nor the hospital ward..."

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham

What I liked

Nursing staff were pleasant and helpful.

What could be improved

It would have been nice to have had a porter with a wheelchair or even a wheelchair provided to take you to the entrance given the length of the corridors.

Anything else?

Well here we are again I did hope I would not have to come into the QE but due to being ill could not be helped I cannot complain about the treatment or the nursing staff they was both excellent but again we have the problem when being discharged of no porter or even being offered.I had just had a heart attack and had to once again walk the length of the corridor to get out the alternative being that my husband who has not long had major surgery and has rheumatoid arthritis to go all the way down to the reception area to get a wheelchair and all the way back again how does anyone think this is right what would have happened if I had collapsed.
