I just want to praise the staff that were working in the Maternity unit (antenatal care), particularly in the foetal scans area. The receptionists are lovely and chatty, and very informative. But, particular attention goes to the sonographer that scanned our baby at the routine 20 week anomaly scan. He was so friendly, funny, and informative throughout the whole process, explaining every part that was being scanned and what he was looking out for etc. It was really reassuring and he made myself and my partner feel at ease and as though we could ask questions too, which was nice. We were fairly apprehensive as it's our first baby, but instantly felt better when he started the process. Also, my appointment was for 3.30pm, and I think I was in 15 minutes prior to this time, so was all running nice & early which was a bonus! Thank you very much to all.
