"d47"

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital

After receiving news of a missed miscarriage at my 12 week scan and initially dealing with the shock and all the decisions that had to be made, i was admitted to ward d47 a week later and from my very fearful, first foot through the door was shown compassion, given advice and had everything explained in normal terms (not doctor terms) this really made me feel at ease with what was happening. The staff really helped me through this sad time and i owe them a great big thankyou. My admiration for you all from the non stop cleaners, friendly meal handlers, doctors and nurses you were all amazing. Thank you!!
