(as a relative),

The ambulance staff - both for emergency ambulance and for routine 'patient transport' ambulances - covering the St Andrews area and taking patients to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, were a godsend when my father needed their help. They were prompt, kind, considerate and did a great job. Dad needed their assistance on a number of occasions and they were unfailingly helpful, exceeding expectations.

Even though some of these situations were stressful for Dad, the ambulance staff's focus on helping him was impressive. I hope they get the recognition they deserve within the service for everything they do. Thank you ambulancemen and ambulancewomen!

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback with us here on CareOpinion. I am so pleased to read about the impression that all of the crews have left you and your family. It sounds like your father had a few encounters with our staff and for all of these to have left positive memories is really good to hear. I will forward your comments to the local manager there but it may be quite helpful to know your dads name and address as this may allow us to locate the crews that assisted your father.
