"Excellent support and service"

About: Queen's Hospital / Maternity care

My daughter was born premature at 32 weeks via emergency c section on the 10th March but a few days prior I was admitted into hospital due to complications and waters breaking. Throughout the whole process and both times in hospital I cannot fault any of the staff on the labour, post natal and antenatal wards. Even members of the triage team were brilliant. Every member of staff I came across was helpful, approachable and considering how busy they all are they always were polite and caring. Unfortunately my daughter at 20 weeks was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder so from the 20 weeks scan we were supported by a staff member at the Fetal medicine unit at Queens throughout as well. I cannot fault queens from my experience and everything they did to support me during the difficult time and premature birth. I think they should all be given the credit where it's due.

Thank you for taking the time to make us aware of your experience. I would like to start by congratulating you on the birth of your daughter. I am so happy to hear that the care you received has been brilliant and that you have felt supported since the birth of your baby. I will ensure your kind words are passed onto the teams so that that they know what a fantastic job they are all doing. Once again, thank you for taking the time to make us aware of your experience.

Kind Regards
