I visited Crosshouse Hospital today with my dad, who has been suffering hugely with bad shoulders recently. Having tried, and failed, recently to get the services required to alleviate his pain in a succinct and timely manner, it was a huge comfort to be able to visit Crosshouse today to get; a physio consultation, X-ray, shoulder specialist consultation, scan, and cortizone injection, all within 3 hours. Premium service, and all with a smile. Absolutely huge thanks to Gemma and David, you’re a credit to the nhs. Why can’t all facets and departments of the nhs come together and work so slickly...? Keep it up!

I am so pleased that your dad was able to get access to everything he required to help his shoulder pain during his recent hospital visit. I am responding as you have tagged the Emergency Department, but I think it may have been the shoulder clinic that you attended. Gemma works with us in the Emergency Department when she is not doing clinics so I have passed on your comments to her. She was absolutely delighted.
