On the 5th December 2018 I gave birth to our daughter and I just wanted to say how pleased we were with the amazing care on the MLU.
I also want to say a special thank you to the Porter and Clinical support worker who helped us get to the MLU. Unfortunately we had ended up at the wrong part of the hospital and a Clinical support worker (who was on her lunch break) came to help us and a Porter rushed out with a chair. They raced us safely through the hospital to the MLU - where we were met with a team from the MLU. Once we arrived into the birthing room we literally only had 2 minutes before the baby arrived.
We are so grateful for the quick thinking of the Clinical support worker and Porter for getting us through the hospital and the speedy response of the MLU team to help safely deliver our baby. A huge thank you to everyone!
