About: Lower Clapton Group Practice

(as the patient),

I am frustrated, all I want is to book an appointment to see a doctor. I can’t book in advance over the phone, I need to call at 9. I work from 4am to 1pm which doesn’t allow me to call.

I tried registering online to be told I already exist. I put in my mail address to get a new password as mine wasn’t working to be told I don’t exist. Make your mind up.

Last time I wanted an appointment I ended up doing call back as it can be 24 hrs by the time the doctor called. I missed it the person got frustrated trying to call me, I couldn't get through to them and was told on a message to do it again. I ordered the medication online and gave up

Sorry you are having a frustrating time with the system. There are morning and afternoon slots available every day we are open so it shouldn't be a problem to call you in the afternoon and arrange an appointment shortly after. Please do send a message to our reception team at lower.claptongp@nhs.net if you are having a problem with online registration or pop in when you are available for them to look into it.

Thank you for your message . I used the doc contact on website and got an email which said they tried to call me but couldn’t get hold of me.

I also sent an email to the mail address in your response and it kept bouncing back undelivered. I Am waiting till I get time to pop in and remedy the situation. Working full time and unsociable hours is hard to get in . That’s the reason I wanted a planned appointment so I can plan the time off . Thanks again for your response it was nice to be heard .
