"Very good so yes I would recommend this hospital"

What I liked

Unlike the previous two comments I found my visit entirely different.

The reception staff greeted me with a smile, it was very busy, but they still had time for me.

The doctor I saw was very polite and had time to talk to me as an individual,even though he was running late.

What could be improved

I agree that data protection is an issue, but do we not have a great big tv screen at the doctors telling everyone our names? Where is the difference?

Maybe the answer at the reception is to just give my house number and postcode?

Having sat in the waiting area for quite some time, which I had come prepared for as my letter told me to allow all morning, incase, my name was taken and I was told they were running late. I didn't however see the nurse again for atleast another half an hour when they came and called me in to the room. However as I was leaving I did see the nurse sat down with the people in the waiting room, which I did find a little unprofessional.

Anything else?

My overall experience was very good and I will continue being treated here, we Do have a choice you know!
