"Comprehensive, holistic and understanding..."

I have been with this Practice for 18 years.

I have had excellent treatment throughout and have a wholly trusting relationship with my G.P. My GP has always focused on my overall well being in treating both acute and chronic conditions.

My physical and mental health needs are equally well met and although consultation times are necessarily short under the system currently that has to be applied, I invariably feel that my concerns have been

fully and sensitively addressed and investigated. I value immensely the continuity of care I have benefited from by being able to see the same GP over the years.

All staff, medical and administrative, have treated me with respect and kindness.which I value.

The nursing staff are also very good in their care.

The only criticism I have lies not with the GP Practice at all but with timely access to certain outside specialists to which the GP has referred me.

Waiting times can be inordinately long e.g pain management clinic 30 weeks +.

In addition, the external mental health support is inadequate.

However, my experience of Preston Park surgery is very positive and I judge the Practice to be excellent.
