About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Endoscopy and day care

(as the patient),

I visited Forth Valley Hospital for an endoscopy. I was greeted by very friendly staff. Firstly nurse Hill who took all my details. I was then placed in a ward to wait for my procedure. While I was waiting 2 members of staff came in to clean the ward they were so friendly and helped so much to distract me from my procedure.

I was then called for my endoscopy by nurse Cruickshanks who was also extremely friendly and helped me through the procedure. Miss Cannings also helped dismiss my fears and anxieties over the procedure.

The staff throughout my visit were excellent.

We appreciate that attending for an endoscopy can be an anxious time for people. It is reassuring that you felt you were supported during your time in the department.

Staff work hard to ensure the patient experience is as comfortable as we can. I will ensure your feedback is shared with the endoscopy staff.
