About: One Recovery Bucks

(as a service user),

I'm writing this letter to thank the staff for going out of their way to help me get clean and stay clean.   Especially Caroline my key worker, Mary, Nicki, Ollie and Alex and everyone behind the scenes.   Also they went out of their way to help me move my stuff from my old property to my new one when I could not afford it, thanks to the volunteer called Micheal for getting me counselling and just genuinely being there for my brother and I.

Thanks so much for taking to time to write and give us you valuable feedback. It is great to hear you have got clean from substances and are staying that way. It is always so positive to hear that people are making a success of their own recovery. It is good for me as service manager to know and hear that you have felt so supported by the Aylesbury team who have supported your recovery.

Recovery is not just about getting and stay substance free, as I hear from your feedback we need to ensure we are meeting service users holistic needs support as supporting their accommodation needs, which its sounds like we have done in your case.

I will ensure all the team hears your wonderful feedback, I am so proud we have so many dedicated and committed staff in our teams.


I hope you and your brother keep accessing all you find useful, early recovery can be a challenge but day by day becomes week by week, month by month, then year by year. All the very best to you both and thanks again for your story.
