"Heart Problem?"

I was taken into A&E on the Saturday morning.

Paramedics were excellent.

A bit of a queue but I was seen quite quickly.

Then I was put into the Acute Assessment Unit and thence into the Short Stay ward.

I must say that my care was excellent.

The nurses and doctors work tirelessly to keep the patients safe and to diagnose the problem and put up with grumpy old men who didn't expect to end up in hospital that day.

Next time I will bring my own ear plugs as not being able to sleep is stressful.

One thing I would say is that I was surprised that the hospital could not access my online medication on Sat/Sun which caused problems with my prescription, they worked on an out of date script which meant that they more than once tried to give me pills which I was no longer taking.

But we worked it out together until Monday when the pharmacist came in.

I would give 4 stars out of 5 as there is always room for improvement anywhere in life.
