"Effective communication techniques using Assertiveness"

About: Community mental health services / Recovery College

(as a service user),

I was certainly not a person for assertiveness, I'm more of a yes man to keep the peace.  But 8 weeks later I am more assertive in asking for things to be done. Receive and Give criticism.  And know how to use the toolbox when needed.

The handouts were good, they would be excellent if they keep to white paper and not this recycled grey paper.

Kelvin the formidable tutor, ever the relaxed gentleman, teaches with confidence and ease.

Stella,  peer trainer of the year award. Enthusiastic about recovery, very helpful on tips for your toolbox.  Teaches with a passion for everyone to achieve their best.

Dear Cece Bloom,

My name is Farai and I am the Engagement & Experience Co-ordinator for the Trust.

Thank you for taking the time to share your story. I am pleased to read that you are finding the courses very useful.

Unfortunately, the grey recycled paper is what is purchased for use across all Trust services so the Recovery College will no longer be able to print on white paper.

I will pass on your compliments about the tutor and trainer to the Recovery College Manager so that they will be made aware.

Kind regards

Farai
