I have recently moved into the area and joined the Practice. What a bad move that was. My Wife is 32 weeks pregnant with a water infection needing antibiotics, having tried to book an emergency appointment she was told 2nd April is the next, but you can call between 8am and 1pm to try, but you will lucky. Surely this is not neglect given her vulnerability and the fact she is carrying an unborn child. The reception staff are extremely rude and look at your like they have just stepped in dog muck when you ask for help. I appreciate they probably get a lot of grief from the patients but they should put themselves in a patients shoes before talking to people like they are the scum of the earth. I will be researching to find a new practice as this one should get checked by the CQC for the way it operates and fails clients

I am very sorry to hear your wife had a bad experience when trying to book an appointment at the surgery.

You state she was not offered an available appointment until 2nd April on which this I can not understand, as from today's date we have many appointments available from 26th March.

Your statement of her being treated like scum of the earth this is something that we would not tolerate from our staff and if this has happened we would like to address this with the receptionist involved.

I do not know your wife's name but If she could telephone me or come in to see me and we can discuss this matter and address her concerns..

Your comments will be feedback to our team but it would really help if we knew the date she had this bad experience so we would be grateful if she could contact the surgery to help us to investigate this matter.
