About: Townfield Doctors Surgery

I have been at this surgery for year but never needed to go much!

However in recent years I have and trying to get a appointment is a complete joke, at times you need to wait 2 weeks.

When the doctors finally see's you, he/she is more interested in typing up the notes on the computer than to look at you and show any kind of emotion.

The receptionist are just rude who think they own the practice! soon as they see a patient waiting they seem to become busy all of a sudden.

They never offer health checks and in recent weeks have asked my elderly father to go to get several blood test in one week, without providing a reason until I had to call the doctor to understand why he kept asking for this. Ridiculous!!!!!!

Dear Patient,

I am so sorry you were unable to make an appointment sooner.We have same day slots to offer and we also have implemented an additional pre-bookable appointment slots for our patient. We also have online booking slots which you are able to book 4-5 weeks in advance.

We have been making a number of changes over the last 5 months to improve our patient appointment access and telephone access. If you still have difficulty to make appointment , please speak to our one of the staff , they will be more than happy to help you.
