"Nothing short of amazing."

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Accident & emergency Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Orthopaedics Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as a service user),

Following an accident I sustained a mid- shaft femur fracture. The care I received from the Balfron ambulance crew, the A&E department and ward B23 at Forth Valley Royal was second to none.

The professionalism, thoroughness and kindness of all staff that I both experienced and saw in action with other patients was nothing short of amazing.

Despite the huge demand on all theses services, nothing was too much trouble. This has continued with follow up physio and outpatients.

Dear PCR,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback. I am so sorry to read that you suffered a mid-shaft femur fracture. That is a nasty one and must have been incredibly painful. I am however very pleased to read that your care was of such a standard and has obviously left a lovely impression on you.

I do hope that you are on the road to a full recovery and your rehabilitation is going smoothly.

I wish you all the very best.

Kind Regards

Alan
