I visited the urology department at the Corbett on 18 Feb for a cystoscopy.

I had never had one before.

The nurse performing the procedure took time to explain things and to listen to my concerns putting me at my ease.

The procedure went well and at the time and in the days following there was no pain or visible blood as I had expected there would be.

I was about an hour and a half late being seen due to some problem with the consultant, who I did not see.

Despite being late, at no time did I feel I was being “rushed through” in order to get back on schedule.

I would like to say a big thank the nurse concerned.
