5 year old son was presenting with high temp, sore head and complaining of sore eyes with no evident signs of infection or illness. He has a history of having tonsillitis.
Great support and advice for Dr Peak at Houldsworth Health Centre and staff at Wishaw Accident and Emergency Department specifically Dr Tariq and Staff Nurse McKenna and Staff Nurse Adam and the other staff who's names I have forgotten. Despite the pressures that our NHS is faced with, both the GP and hospital were extremely busy, my son was seen by caring and compassionate staff from first contact to discharge.
I felt I had to write this as to date there has been so much negative press about our NHS over the years , my son received excellent care and treatment and I am proud of it. It should be supported and praised not put down , if it goes with a view that it could all be privatised society will truly wish it was back !
