"We couldn’t have asked for better care."

About: Stepping Hill Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

My labour was a total of 13hours and from start to finish we couldn’t have asked for better care. We were very well looked after and happy with the care and service. Only thing that could have gone better is more help with breastfeeding in hospital before being discharged.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of care within the maternity unit.

I am sorry to hear that you felt that the breastfeeding support provided during the postnatal period could have been improved.

Please be assured that I will share your feedback with the infant feeding team and in response we will review the support provided to mothers during the postnatal period.

Kindest regards

Janet Cotton

Head of Midwifery and Women’s Health
