"VBAC at the Birthing centre"

About: North Middlesex Hospital / Maternity care

I transferred from another hospital at 37 weeks because they would not allow me to give birth in their birthing centre.

I met with the team at North Middlesex maternity unit and they were amazingly supportive and caring.

The midwives who delivered my second baby and looked after me afterwards were incredible. I could not fault any of them. They are caring and truly dedicated to looking after the women in their care.

Could not recommend highly enough!

Dear Anonymous,

Thank you so much for your lovely review. I know how busy it can be with a new baby, so thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are setting up a Maternity Voice Partnership (MVP) which is an NHS working group made up of a team of women and their families, commissioners and providers (midwives and doctors) working together to review and contribute to the development of local maternity care. It is important that the MVP has a true representation of users including women and their families with good and bad experiences. This is to ensure that any influence on provision of care, reflects an accurate depiction of users experiences and feedback. If you would like further information on the group, then please email Karen Griffin our Professional Midwifery advocate on karengriffin@nhs.net"

Kind Regards

Shereen Nimmo

Head of Midwifery and Gynaecology
