"Brother's treatment for Over Dose at Norfolk and Norwich Uni Hospital."

About: Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital / General medicine

(as a relative),

Brother took an OD in the early hours of the morning and was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital A/E a couple of hours later. The staff were fantastic until he was taken to MAU (Medical Assessment Unit) where we felt the staff's attitude changed.

They discharged my brother who was still be sick and was very unsteady on his feet.

I can't fault the A/E staff at all. They were absolutely fantastic. Why can't all the staff be like them?

We hope your brother is making a good recovery after a difficult experience. We are sorry that he was treated differently in the assessment unit after the A&E staff took such good care of him.
