"Disappointed with support from CMHT"

Dear All,

This is the second time in a couple of months that my CPN has phoned me half an hour after they were due, to inform me they were busy and couldnt make a regular appointment.

I dont want to cause any trouble, as the CPN is both knowledgeable and supportive, but I feel it is deeply unprofessional to miss appointments in this way.

My self-injury has gone off the rails recently and support is something I am very short of. This type of thing triggers my already rampant abandonment Schema, and causes me severe distress and upset.

I am sorry to hear that your appointment has been cancelled and you do not feel you have support in place to help you. I will discuss this with your care co-ordinator to understand why your appointments are being cancelled and will provide a further response as soon as possible.
