I was admitted to the Day Ward on Thursday 28th February for a biopsy. From initial reception through to going down to the Imaging Dept for the procedure I was treated with the utmost respect and kindness. It was explained to me very carefully what the procedure entailed and I was reassured by the total professionalism of the team. Afterwards back on the ward everything possible was done to minimise any discomfort I was having. At a time when the NHS seems to get continually criticised it was refreshing to be cared for by the staff on the Day Ward in such a professional and caring manner. I would have no hesitation in assuring anyone requiring admittance to the Day Ward that they would be in safe hands and well cared for.
