"Changed my life"

About: Cassel Hospital

After suffering for as long as I can remember I got referred to the Cassel. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done and I would be lying if I said it was smooth sailing. There were high moments and there were extreme low moments exhibiting my typical bpd behaviors - but this was needed for treatment to be successful. I gave it my all, held nothing back.

Two years on, i am the happiest I have ever been. I am finally content with myself and the world! I am a mother of one and raising her in a stable family unit.

I’m eternally grateful for my therapist. He understood me like no other; and the staff (as much as I had my arguments with them)

Thank you. Those reading this who are due to go. Please give it your all. It could change your life.

Thank you for this feed back and advice to future patients. I am delighted that you are now content as I know how much hard work you have had to do over the years to get to the place you are now.

Hearing your feed back is so important to those of us who work here (staff and patients) as if gives us renewed energy to hold hope and determination when the going, as you say, can be tough. Knowing that for some people it really helps them on their journey to fulfilled lives and that your daughter will reap the benefits of this makes it all worth it.

I will relay your message "give it your all" as for all of us that sums it up perfectly!

Our many thanks and best wishes

Amanda
