"Great service from community midwives (and NICU)"

About: University Hospital Lewisham / Maternity care

I gave birth in another hospital just before Christmas and care was transferred to Lewisham Hospital Community midwives (park team I think covering SE3?). I was very impressed. They offered a truly 7 day service throughout the Christmas/New Year period with both home visits and postnatal clinic visits. They were accessible, kind and competent. I had some slight complications and they were always helpful and easy to contact. I felt well supported. My baby also needed blood tests done for jaundice and this was done quickly and competently on NICU. Thank you!

Thank you so much for the wonderful positive comments regarding your care with our Parkview Team. It is always good to have feedback on our services especially around the holiday periods as we often change our usual way of working.

Midwives and maternity support workers always try to give kind and excellent care and it is humbling when a new mother takes the times to give us this feedback. May I congratulate you on the birth of your baby.

Kind Regards

Matron for Birth Centre and Community Services
