"Appointment date issue - fake number"

About: St Georges at Queen Mary's Hospital (London)

I have waited for 4 months for an appointment. I received a phone call from the hospital to confirm my appointment days before - they told me Monday 25th on the phone, and my letter also says that - but when I got to the hospital for the appointment after taking a day off work sick I was told that the specialist wasn't in today and that my appointment is actually Tuesday 26th and they can't see me today.

I then asked for a number to complain as I have lost two days wage now instead of one because of this mistake and the receptionist that I saw has given me a fake phone number that doesn't lead to anywhere. Will be making two complaints no. Not
