What I liked

The doctors who I saw at my first outpatients appointment were very knowledgeable and informative and helped me and my partner to understand more about my condition and clearly explained medical jargon, which I had not experienced with my more local hospital. However, the Bristol doctors are specialists in their field and it really showed. I felt that they listened to my concerns and have outlined a good plan that will help me to recover.

What could be improved

When I arrived the reception was unmanned. I had a 1.30pm appointment and was concerned that I was in the wrong area of the hospital. Can I suggest that a sign be placed in the reception window stating that the reception was for x-clinics for Drs Y and that the reception was unmanned during lunch and the receptionist will return at z time. This would have help reassure me.
