"Labour ward"

About: King's College Hospital (Denmark Hill) / Maternity

I gave birth to my daughter on the Labour ward at Kings last year. It was complex and long labour- 42 hours. The doctors were incredible, involving me and my husband in every decision that was made. It was a very traumatising experience only made better by the professionals that work there. Every midwife was kind and went above and beyond.

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments about your care when you had your baby.

We are pleased to hear that staff were so helpful at such a difficult and distressing time for you and that they involved you and your husband in your labour and the birth of your baby. I do hope that you are now recovering and settling in at home.

Thank you again for your kind comments.

I have passed them onto our Head of Midwifery as I am sure she will want to share the her team.
