"Excellent care given at a difficult time"

I recently visited the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit and unfortunately we were told that we had sadly lost our baby. The next steps were clearly very difficult but we were given all the information that we needed and the time to process our thoughts on what was the right thing to do for us.

We made a decision very quickly and I was booked onto the emergency list for surgery within 48 hours. The two nurse practitioners who looked after us on both days were fantastic, we were treated with compassion, dignity and respect at all times. They made my experience as positive as they could which made a huge difference. I couldn’t fault the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit they do a great job in what can be very difficult circumstances
