"Royal United - amazing staff and care"

Had an unexpected stay in the RUH after a 111 call was made.

It was busy when we entered and thought I would be in for a long wait. It was surprisingly quick and a very knowledgeable Nurse Practioner immediately picked up on the cause of illness and referred me immediately to ENT.

I was put in a bed in a bay within 10 mins. The staff nurses were amazing and doctor even though you could see they were under pressures.

I was moved to the Surgical Short Stay and again the most lovely care and felt like being in a safe place. The next day the amazing care continued and the best bit was choosing lunch & dinner from a menu and was delicious!

Thank you all involved, you do all the right things and the quick initial diagnosis saved me from Intensive Care.
