The nurse who saw me this morning was absolutely lovely. The receptionist not so! Unfriendly, curt & abrupt. Not suited to an A&E department.

Hello - thank you for telling us about your appointment at Chard Minor Injuries Unit.

Really pleased to hear the positive feedback about the nurse who saw you - however I was really disappointed to read about our receptionist. I am going to pass both the comments over to our lead at the Minor Injuries Unit to look into.

Looking at the date of the post, I think you attended the unit on Monday, however do feel free to drop me an email on jenny.langdon@sompar.nhs.uk if this is incorrect (or if you have any further details you would like to share) so we can look into who was on shift at the time.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. I am pleased that you had a positive experience in the MIU from the nurse you saw. I am very sorry that this was not the case with the reception staff, I will make sure this is fed back to the hospital Matron as she is responsible for the reception staff.
