(as a relative),

My wife was discharged into you care following a nephrectomy.

On your nurse's first visit (staff nurse claire) she correctly diagnosed a wound infection and help to arrange a consultation with the emergency doctor for urgent treatment with antibiotics. She also arranged for daily visits by the greenhead team to monitor recovery and change dressings. This action potentially prevented additional complications occurring,

We have been visited by most members of the team during the intervening period until discharge today.

We are delighted and impressed with the service we have received with a combination on friendly efficiency, professional care and reliability seldom encountered these days!

We sincerely thank you for your help during this difficult period.

Thank you very much for taking the time to post this comment. Locala District Nurses work extremely hard to provide a high standard of care and I am glad that your experience of those who cared for your wife was so positive.

I have passed on your thanks to Claire and to the other nurses in the team and we wish your wife a speedy recovery.
