I suffer from chronic pain and was sent to a pain clinic here.
The receptionists are hardly ever about and sometimes pretty rude.
The man I saw wasn't a doctor or a nurse yet gave advice on my pain that was COMPLETELY wrong!! He couldn't prescribe so I was sent to a nurse for another appointment so also couldn't prescribe to be sent back to my doctor!
What is the point in that! Other pain clinics prescribe there!
The advice he gave was dangerously wrong, telling you to do thing like exercise to the point of pain as then your pain tolerance will rise! What the heck, that is wrong.
Plus lots of other things like when I asked if it could be fibromyalgia. He said "that isn't diagnosed anymore but you could call it that if you want". That was his exact words!
It is diagnosed. obviously he couldn't as he isn't a doctor so why say that!
Wish I could go somewhere else!
