About: Royal Albert Edward Infirmary

Arrived at accident and emergency department 6pm with my mother in law she had fallen in the care home where she lives. Within fifteen minutes a nurse had assessed her and sent her for xrays on her right arm.The xrays were completed in less then fifteen minutes and we were then sent to minor injuries department were a doctor confirmed she had broke a bone In her wrist. He arranged for a nurse to put her arm in plaster and within thirty minutes it was done . fantastic service. Keep up the fantastic work. Kind regards Ian

Thank you for your posting and sharing the speedy and positive experience following the attendance with your mother-in-law to the A&E at Wigan Infirmary. It is always pleasing to be in a positon to pass such kind words on to the Department and I will ensure that this is done to allow the team to personally access your comments. Please extend our best wishes to your mother-in-law for a speedy recovery.

Kind regards
