"Care given to my husband"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Clinical Haematology (Ward 4c)

(as a relative),

My husband has been receiving care in Ward 4B QEUH and I cannot praise the staff highly enough. The level of skill a and expertise the staff have has been evident all through his care. Not only is the nursing care excellent, the staff are very compassionate and supportive, always ready to provide a listening ear and encouragement. This has also been extended to me as a visitor too.

Other services available, such as Friend's of the Beatson, were unexpected to us but extremely beneficial and also provided for family members too.

My words don't seem adequate enough to fully sum up how special this unit is. The Drs were wonderful and no aspect of the care was overlooked..

To each and every member of staff, be proud of yourselves and the wonderful job you do.

Update posted by Emaredee (a relative)

My story is listed as elderly medicine, however, it's the Bone Marrow Transplant unit.
