I came in c24 to have my tonsils removed at 51 years of age.All went well but unfortunately a few days later at home I had a very bad bleed and ended up in A&E. I was obviously very frightened but all staff were wonderful and very caring.
After several attempts to stop the bleeding I was told I needed to go to theatre again. This made me extremely anxious but again all staff involved were wonderful and in my opinion went above and beyond to reassure me that it was the best and safest thing to do.
I woke up in recovery with two fantastic ladies looking after me,these two ladies I will never forget for their care and kindness nothing was too much trouble.
Then I went to ward c25 spotless, clean tidy ward. All staff absolutely fantastic from the cleaners, students, nurses and consultants nothing was too much trouble and they always took time to listen and comfort me on several occasions when I became upset....
When I'm back on my feet I will visit with cake as promised. Regards Tracey
