"Absolute shocking"

About: The Glenfield Surgery

I have been a patient at the practice for quite some time now and the service I’ve received regarding my ear, throat and nose issue has been diabolical. I have been fobbed off by doctors and a nurse who isn’t a residential memeber or staff. He also make me feel like I just need to ‘get on with it’. I didn’t feel any quality of care and again was basically fobbed off and told to take ibruprofen and wait 3 weeks. When I ring in my the morning the automated system cuts me off. The wait times are ridiculous, despite patients coming in and out of incredibly quickly. It’s a shame I feel as though I’m leaving such a negative review. But it’s 1am and I am unable to sleep due to the pain which I haven’t received proper care for! Glenfield surgery, please sort out your issues!

Thank you for your review regarding the surgery

We are sorry that on this occasion you felt you didn’t receive the quality of care you were expecting.

All reviews are taken seriously and discussed at monthly meetings.

The surgery recently had a new phone system installed which did in the beginning cause some disruptions to patients calling into the surgery. To date this has now been resolved and I apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Regarding the remaining comments it is difficult to respond to individual episodes without knowing the patients name.
