Attended an appointment today with my Mother only to be told that the appointment was cancelled. We did not receive any cancellation letter or any new appointment letter. We were past through several different clinics to eventually be told this. Whilst waiting in the waiting area a cockroach was crawling across the floor!!!!
We then sat until 10am to speak with PALS, as they open at 9am but only see walk in patients from 10am!! Great if you have an appointment at 9am and have been in the hospital since 08:30am.
When eventually we spoke to someone in PALS they were the most disinterested Customer Service Person that I have spoken to.
I understand that clinics need to be cancelled but please ensure you inform the patients and rebook them a new appointment.!!!!!
