"Why such a wide disparity?"

About: Blackpool Victoria Hospital

In the past Ihave had treatment at BVH for various ailments and clinically they have been dealt withexcellently. Unfortunately the management which supports the clinicians fails miserably. It is quite obvious the the clerics do not have the same attitude as the nursing staff and do not appreciate the effect their dilatory behaviour has on the well being of patients.

Repeatedly ignoring patients emails can cause increasing concern especially when patients are desperate for information e.g. Scan results.

An additional problem seems to be the inability of the IT department to maintain to a reliable level the hospital email services.

It is useless having wonderful doctors and nursing staff if the clerical and IT staff can't match their performance
