"Excellent urgent care"

About: West Cornwall Hospital (Penzance)

I attended urgent care last night with breathing difficulties. The staff were all incredibly professional, kind, efficient and thorough. I could not have asked for more. The treatment they gave me had quick effect to alleviate my symptoms, and they also gave me a comprehensive follow up plan. They did everything they could to put me at ease and ensure that I received the best treatment possible.

I would like to say thank you for posting your recent experience of our Urgent Care Centre (UCC). As the Hospital Manager at West Cornwall Hospital (WCH) it is very important to hear the experiences of our service users, regardless of whether these were positive or not. This is the only way we learn as an organisation. It is especially rewarding when these experiences have been so positive, as was the case with your recent visit.

I am really pleased that the staff in our UCC were able to treat you and provide your with such excellent care. I am also pleased that the team were able to offer you a comprehensive follow-up plan.

I will certainly make sure your comments are shared with the team in UCC. I do also hope you continue to make an excellent recovery and wish you well in the future.
