"Praise for ambulance crew"

(as a relative),

Tom and Derek were called out to my mother in Leven Fife around 17: 30 on Saturday recently. My mother was struggling for breath and needed oxygen immediately. These 2 guys were absolutely wonderful with my mother and also the family, We can’t thank them enough for the thorough and compassionate treatment they gave her. I feel they went above and beyond keeping us informed on what was happening and Tom checking back in on us before they left Victoria hospital. I hope they get to hear this praise as they handle their very difficult job with the right amount of professionalism, empathy and humour. Well done guys xx

I am so sorry to read that your mother was struggling for breath. It must have been very frightening for her and all the family. I do hope that she is on the road to a full recovery.

I am however very pleased to read the lovely comments you make about the crew that attended your mother. It is clear that they have made a lovely impression and carried out their duties in exactly the manner in which we would expect.

I would be honoured to pass on your kind words and make sure that their managers know how good a job they do. May I ask that you email me at alan.martin2@nhs.net and proved me with some details. I require the date, time and address that the vehicle attended your mother and your mothers name.
