"Thankyou"

About: Rosie Hospital

After six miscarriages over two years, our baby boy was born at the Rosie Borth centre in September.

From beginning to end, you have all been amazing.

It’s been a really long journey and at the worst of times, the midwives and consultants have been amazing. An especially big shout out to the lady working in clinic 24 who made me a cup of tea and let me cry on her shoulder until my husband got the hospital.

Given my history, I was that one person who was always on the phone. Even though I was being a bit over paranoid most of the time, I was never made to feel that way. I always felt like I was listened to and my concerns were taken seriously, and I am extremely grateful for that.

As for giving birth, the midwives (and the medical student that was there too!) were so kind and made me feel really safe. They also put my very squeamish husband at ease! I always felt ‘in the loop’ and in control as they were great at communicating everything and always answered my questions clearly.

Thank you all so much. It wasn’t an easy few years but the Rosie definitely had my back.
