"pace admission"

About: Pinderfields General Hospital

excellent care at pontefract urgent treatment centre ..short delay in waiting ifor bed in pace . care in Pace very good ...the scenario that needs urgent attention is discharge ..Being aware that there is probably patients waiting for a bed... it is now 3 hours since my mother was told she could leave ...suggestion if you had a discharge medication prescription that we as family could take to pharmacy and wait ..the 3 hours wait would be greatly reduced ...secondly the letter we are waiting for could be sent to the GP electronic ..hence freeing beds and in turn reducing a and e back logs

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments regarding your recent experience.

I am pleased to read that on the whole the experience has been positive.

However, I am disappointed to read of the difficulties encountered with the discharge procedure.

I will share your feedback with the team as it is important that we learn from our patient's experiences.

Thank you again.

Kind regards

Clare Blackburn

(Patient Liaison Improvement Lead)
