I went into A&E and although the wait felt long, everyone who I interacted with was caring, friendly and knowledgeable. The nurses were particularly kind and even the medical students were sensitive and friendly. I was eventually sent up to the sixth floor and every staff member I interacted with was enthusiastic, caring and put customer service as the top priority. You can tell this hospital is well managed and the staff are happy because this shows through in how they treat patients. Staff went out of their way to look after me and the doctors listened to my concerns and responded to my questions. This is the NHS at its best.
