What I liked

My daughter was admitted to the children's unit via A &E recently and was treated on PAU, Dolphin and Timpson Ward. the staff were superb in all departments and treated both of us with a personal touch that I can only describe as a first class service. One doctor in particular was excellent helping us to deal with every event until discharge. Special thanks to the Sister and HCA on Timpson ward who spent hours with us ensuring we understood everything and were made as comfortable as possible.

The wards themselves look tired and dated, however I know the new unit will help to reflect the standards of care that the staff deliver and give both staff and patients an even better experience.

Washing facilities and an adolescent area ( but we know this is coming!)
