"not doing their job properly"

I was given a letter from the hospital requesting a prescription to hand in at the surgery.I did so that evening (Monday ).On checking my pharmacy Friday,nothing had been put through.I phoned Monday(now a week later) to check if it had been put through yet.....no but will be done that day for evening collection!Evening arrived and nothing had been put through.I phoned the surgery and was told it still hadn't been done!However it would be done that evening.I waited for a while and checked later....nothing!Tuesday morning (today) I checked again,still nothing.I am a pregnant lady with gestational diabetes,I need that prescription.I don't need to be running back and forth getting stressed out trying my hardest to do something and getting nowhere because someone isn't doing their job properly.
