Absolutely fantastic maternity services from this hospital from Greenoaks to wharncliffe to labour ward. Each and every member of staff I cane across were fantastic. The care I received whilst pregnant at green oaks was brilliant. The staff do a fantastic job. I had a fair few pregnancy complications and had a few stays on wharncliffe and was very well looked after the Midwife’s are brilliant I can’t thank them enough for looking after me so well. I had Gestational Diabetes and a nurse on wharncliffe went above and beyond for me whilst I was there to make sure I had something to eat each meal as I couldn’t tolerate much. No matter how busy and stressful things were I always saw the staff on the ward with smiles.
I visited labour ward a few times also and every time I was there the Midwife’s looking after me were again fantastic, they made me feel more relaxed and calm in each situation I was in. When I finally went into labour my midwife who delivered my baby was amazing, everything I wanted was met and apart from my partner she was my rock she was fantastic, she listened to everything I wanted or didn’t want and nothing was to much or to little, thanks to her my labour was calm and enjoyable ( as much as it can be haha!) she is a credit to the team.
My little one was admitted to scbu and the team here is truly amazing, without the amazing doctors, nurses, consultants and everyone else who works there my baby wouldn’t be here and for that I can’t thank them enough, not only did they take care of my baby they made sure me and my partner were ok at all times, each and every single one of the nurses made the awful time we went through more bearable. I just want to say a big thank you to all the staff at Greenoaks, wharncliffe, labour ward and SCBU. You all do a amazing job and are a real credit to the hospital.
