I was admitted into the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Glasgow and within 3 days I was diagnosed with GBS and started my IV treatment next day.
I was discharged from the neurosurgical institute over a month later having had excellent physio support including climbing stairs and OT management.
The handing on of my care to community OT and physio has been well organised.
During my stay all the nurses, auxiliaries and other staff members were very supportive of my progress as were the various doctors
