I was admitted to Royal Cornwall Hospital NHS trust, Wheal Fortune Ward for an elective Caesarian section. We were greeted by warm and welcoming staff and made to feel right at home.
When it was our turn we went up to the delivery suite and taken to theatre where our beautiful baby boy was delivered. We had some slight complications (a 12cm ovarian cyst and a large bleed) but the staff were calm and professional throughout.
Once recovered we were transferred back to the ward, and although they were busy, you were never made to feel an inconvenience.
All the staff on the ward and the delivery suite were kind and compassionate and professional at every stage.
"Kind, compassionate and professional at every stage."
